During CY2023, S&P returned c.21% while the Straits Times Index was down -7%. Our portfolio returned 6.2%, beating the STI handsomely but failed miserably against the S&P. As mentioned many times, it is very, very difficult to beat the S&P. Let’s hope for a better second year!
